Tony is a Stone, Staffordshire based artist. Having produced works in a variety of mediums, formats and styles, he now concentrates mainly on landscapes and animal portraits plus other subject matters that appeal to him. He works predominantly in oils.
The countryside around Stone has inspired many of his landscapes, however he has also produced numerous studies of the Trent & Mersey canal which runs through his home town.
His animal studies have embraced many different subjects from mice to tigers, birds including birds of prey and many pet portraits.
Although a self-taught artist he has been painting for over 50 years and has exhibited in the Staffordshire Open Arts Exhibition and seen his artwork travel as far as Australia and Canada.
Tony is now retired and able to devote more time to his artwork, was previously involved in shoe design and Wedding phototherapy and was once the ‘cartoonist’ for his company magazine.
