Colour is a passion for artist Angela Rose, as an artist she is always looking for truth and beauty.
She paints in her own contemporary style in acrylic and water colour with a flowing brush. Her artwork has texture and colour is a semi-abstract style on canvas, board and paper.
Angela Rose is a self taught artist who has has completed a Summer course at St Martins studying drawing, collage and colourants.
Her artwork explores her passion for colour and beauty, her own perception of nature with the influence of spirituality which is reflected in her paintings.
Angela loves to experiment with colours from pastels to bold and bright and has been inspired by the style and colours of the Italian frescoes, Japanese artwork and the decorative arts. She is particularly inspired and influenced by artists such as Monet, Michael Angelo, Marc Chagall, Klimt and Van Gogh.
Angela has exhibited at the Royal Academy summer shows with her unique original paintings.
